Landscapes, the landforms which compose them, and the life that inhabits them coexist in an endless and cyclical state of flux. Rivers migrate, fault lines rupture, mountains rise, and seas dry up. The one universal unit of measurement is time. Natural photography is an appreciation of the earth’s constant evolution. The subject framed in the viewfinder cannot be manipulated, nor can the events be replicated. They exist only for a short amount of time while the ground beneath the camera continues to shift. Keep your eyes open, the world we see today is not and will never be the same as the one we discover tomorrow.
